حروف الجر في الإنجليزية — دليل شامل لـ In On At

حروف الجر (Prepositions) هي كلمات صغيرة لكنها تسبب ارتباكاً كبيراً لمتعلمي الإنجليزية. أكثرها استخداماً وأكثرها صعوبة هي In و On و At.

معلومة

In → داخل مساحة عامة (غير محددة)
On → على سطح أو في يوم محدد
At → عند نقطة محددة أو وقت محدد

أولاً: حروف الجر للمكان (Prepositions of Place)

At — نقطة محددة

مثال

I am at the bus stop. (في محطة الحافلات — نقطة)
She is at work. (في العمل)
He is at the door. (عند الباب)
We met at the cinema. (في السينما)
The meeting is at 123 Main Street. (في عنوان محدد)

On — سطح أو خط

مثال

The book is on the table. (على الطاولة)
The picture is on the wall. (على الحائط)
She lives on Elm Street. (في شارع)
He is on the phone. (على الهاتف)
The cat is on the roof. (على السطح)
I am on the bus. (في الحافلة)

In — مساحة مغلقة أو منطقة عامة

The milk is in the fridge. (في الثلاجة)
She is in the kitchen. (في المطبخ)
He lives in Cairo. (في القاهرة — مدينة)
They are in Egypt. (في مصر — بلد)
It's in the box. (في الصندوق)
She is in the garden. (في الحديقة)

ثانياً: حروف الجر للزمان (Prepositions of Time)

At — وقت محدد بالدقيقة

مثال

The meeting starts at 3 PM. (في الساعة الثالثة)
I wake up at 7:30. (في السابعة والنصف)
She goes to bed at midnight. (في منتصف الليل)
See you at noon. (في الظهر)

On — يوم محدد أو تاريخ

مثال

I'll see you on Monday. (يوم الاثنين)
My birthday is on June 15th. (في 15 يونيو)
We have a meeting on Friday morning. (صباح الجمعة)
She was born on January 1st, 1990. (في 1 يناير 1990)

In — شهر، سنة، فصل، فترة عامة

مثال

I was born in May. (في شهر مايو)
She graduated in 2015. (في عام 2015)
It's cold in winter. (في الشتاء)
In the morning, I drink coffee. (في الصباح)
I'll finish in two hours. (بعد ساعتين)

حالات خاصة

معلومة

لا تستخدم حرف جر مع:

tomorrow → at tomorrow ❌
yesterday → on yesterday ❌
today → in today ❌
next week → in next week ❌
last month → on last month ❌

"I will see you next Monday." (بدون حرف جر)
"She called me yesterday." (بدون حرف جر)

ساعة → at

قواعد سريعة للحفظ

نصيحة

للمكان:

at + نقطة (at the station)
on + سطح (on the table)
in + مساحة (in the room)

للزمان:

at + ساعة (at 5 PM)
on + يوم (on Sunday)
in + شهر/سنة (in March / in 2024)
