نستخدم Comparatives للمقارنة بين شيئين. نستخدم Superlatives للمقارنة بين شيء وكل المجموعة.
قواعد التكوين
الصفات المكونة من مقطع واحد

المقارنات
- than: She is taller than her brother. — هي أطول من أخيها
- as ... as (تساوي): He is as tall as his father. — هو بطول والده
- not as ... as (أقل): This book is not as interesting as that one. — هذا الكتاب ليس ممتعاً مثل ذاك
التفضيل
- in + مجموعة: She is the smartest student in the class. — هي أذكى طالبة في الفصل
- of + جمع: He is the best of all. — هو الأفضل بين الجميع
تعابير شائعة

لا نكرر المقارنة💡 نصيحة: عندما تكون في شك، الكلمات الطويلة (٣ مقاطع فأكثر) تستخدم more / most.
